CKEditor at WeAreDevelopers 2024: A Recap of Key Moments
CKEditor was thrilled to participate in the WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2024 in Berlin, a leading global event that attracts developers and tech innovators from around the world. The conference brought together 15,000 developers from 8,000 companies, featuring over 500 speakers, making it a cornerstone gathering for the tech community.
More than just a conference, WeAreDevelopers fosters a dynamic environment where leaders and visionaries come together to discuss trends, share insights, and tackle challenges in software development. The event’s mission goes beyond coding—it’s about empowering attendees to drive innovation and make a lasting impact on the industry.

At WeAreDevelopers, CKEditor had the chance to actively engage with the developer community, showcasing our latest features and solutions designed to elevate the rich text editing experience in web applications. The event provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals, exchange ideas, and demonstrate how CKEditor can empower developers to push the boundaries for their users on what’s possible in content creation.
A major highlight of our participation was an insightful talk by Mrina Sugosh, our Developer Relations Manager, titled “The Collaborative Edge for AI Assistants in Content Creation Workflows.” In her presentation, Mrina explored how CKEditor leverages AI to enhance collaboration in content creation, making workflows more efficient and intuitive. She highlighted the integration of real time collaboration features within CKEditor like Real-time Collaborative Editing, Comments, Track Changes, Revision History, and Mentions, demonstrating how these tools streamline editing, optimize content, and support collaboration across teams. Attendees got a glimpse into the future of content creation, powered by AI and collaboration.
Exciting Raffle for Attendees
To add more excitement to our presence at the event, CKEditor hosted a raffle at our booth, where participants could win a LEGO typewriter along with other exclusive CKEditor swag. The raffle was a huge success, drawing in many attendees and sparking lively conversations about the potential of CKEditor’s features like Import from Word and Export to Word/PDF in their projects. We were thrilled to announce the lucky winner of the LEGO typewriter, Gautier de Bruijne, adding a fun and memorable moment to our conference experience.
