CKFinder 3.5.3 for PHP released
We would like to announce that CKFinder 3.5.3 has just been released. This is a maintenance release and covers the CKFinder for PHP. Aiming at stability and uninterrupted operation, we have made the following improvements to CKFinder.
In this version of CKFinder for PHP, we have added support for PHP 8.1. While it may look a little weird, as it was a minor PHP version update, it introduced a new full_path
value in the array of $_FILES
, which unfortunately, broke one of the third-party dependencies and effectively disabled all the file uploads in CKFinder in the latest version of PHP.
We have not only updated the required library but also all other dependencies. The core codebase of the PHP connector has been properly refreshed and all the deprecated method calls have been replaced with appropriate counterparts.
This new maintenance release is a highly recommended upgrade if you want to ensure the stability and security of your environment. Visit the CKFinder download site and download the newest version. If you would like to renew your license, please visit our pricing page.
