# AddRootEvent

typedef

Fired whenever a root is [added or re-added](module_editor-multi-root_multirooteditor-MultiRootEditor.md#function-addRoot:ROOT_CONFIG) to the editor model.

Use this event to [create a DOM editable](module_editor-multi-root_multirooteditor-MultiRootEditor.md#function-createEditable:OPTIONS) for the added root and append the DOM element in a desired place in your application.

The event is fired after all changes from a given batch are applied. The event is not fired, if the root was added and detached in the same batch.
