# Testing overview

There are two ways to test Collaboration Server On-Premises:

* **\[Recommended]** [Run tests using a Docker image](docker.md). We strongly recommend to use Docker images because it does not require installing any additional dependencies.
* [Run tests without Docker](nodejs.md). Use this approach if you cannot use Docker. Requires installation of external dependencies.
