guideFeatures overview

The On-Premises version contains all the features of CKEditor Cloud Services available as SasS.

However, there may be some differences between the versions. All differences in operation, management and configuration have been described for the features in which there are differences.

All features are described in the Guides section.

Certain features may be available earlier in the SasS version than in the On-Premises. This is due to the On-Premises release cycle.

Features where there are differences between the SaaS version and On-Premises:

  • Restul APIs - a full-featured Restful APIs you can use to create a server-to-server integration.

  • Webhooks - a notification mechanism that can be used to build integrations.

  • API secret - used for authentication in the most critical parts of the system.
